GUARANTEE FOR DENTAL TREATMENT
During each treatment, we make every effort to provide our patients with long-term satisfaction with
the results of treatment. We always do our best to make our patients satisfied with the perfect
treatment, this is why you receive the conditions of maintaining the guarantee for the dental services
provided by our clinic. We also would like to inform that we have a double insurance – not only
INDEXMEDICA dental clinic has a third party liability insurance as a dental clinic, but also each of our
dentists has also an individual third party liability insurance policy.

Excerpt from warranty conditions

Duration of the guarantee:
1. Composite fillings - 3 years.
Composite fillings which are located in the surroundings of the tooth cervix (neck) are covered
by a one-year guarantee. In the case of existing cavities in the remaining teeth (lack of so called
supporting zones) we provide a guarantee for 12 months (after replacing the missing teeth, the
guarantee is extended up to 3 years - with the exception of fillings in the cervical margins of the
tooth). In the case of bruxism, the duration of the guarantee is assigned by the dentist.

2. Tooth core reconstruction and the glass – fibre radix posts - 2 years.
In the case of missing teeth in the remaining areas (lack of so called supporting zones) we
provide a warranty for 6 months (after replacing the missing teeth, the guarantee is extended up
to 3 years). In the case of bruxism, the duration of the guarantee is assigned by the dentist.

3. Fixed prosthetic restorations (classical crowns and bridges and crowns and bridges 
on implants, veneers, inlays, overlays) - 2 years.
In the case of missing teeth in the remaining areas (lack of so called supporting zones) we
provide a warranty for 12 months (after replacing the missing teeth, the guarantee is extended
up to 2 years). In the case of bruxism, the duration of the guarantee is assigned by the dentist.

4. Acrylic dentures - 1 year.
In the case of missing teeth in the remaining areas (lack of so called supporting zones) we
provide a warranty for 6 months (after replacing the missing teeth, the guarantee is extended up
to 1 year). In the case of bruxism, the duration of the guarantee is assigned by the dentist.

5. Metal frame acrylic dentures - 3 years.
In the case of missing teeth in the remaining areas (lack of so called supporting zones) we
provide a warranty for 12 months (after replacing the missing teeth, the guarantee is extended
up to 1 year). In the case of bruxism, the duration of the guarantee is assigned by the dentist.

6. Occlusal splint and relaxation splint - 1 year

7. Implants - 5 years
Osstem Implants are covered by lifelong guarantee for material defects or damages.


Conditions of maintaining the guarantee:
1. Maintenance of proper oral hygiene.
2. Attendance without a call for scheduled check-up visits at INDEXMEDICA Dental Clinic in Kraków
in the intervals fixed by the dentist or immediate appearance in the event of any identified
problems. During the check - up visits, following should be performed: hygienic treatments,
fluoridation, planned replacement of used prosthetic components and the possible relining of
removable dentures. The frequency and scope of these procedures is determined by your
dentist depending on the indication. These treatments are performed according to the current
price list.
3. Endodonctic treatment (root canal treatment) is not covered by guarantee.
4. Surgical treatment e.g. resections, soft tissue surgeries including soft tissue transplantation,
bone augmentation and other procedures in the field of the implantology are not covered by
guarantee.
5. Mechanical damages of prosthetic restorations due to injuries, parafunctions or misuse are not covered by guarantee.
6. Temporary restorations - temporary crowns, bridges, dentures (or similar) placed immediately after surgical treatment are not covered by guarantee.
